What we collect

The contact form asks for your name, phone number, email address, what you're interested in riding, the date you want to ride, and your message. You choose what goes in them.

Separately, Google Analytics records the pages you open, roughly where you are (from your IP address, which Google says it does not store), your device and browser, which link or ad brought you here, which of the contact buttons you tap (call, email or WhatsApp), and whether you started filling in the form. It never sees your message, which goes only in the email. What it can pick up when you send the form is set out under Google and advertising, below.

Cloudflare, which delivers this website, also counts visits for us: the page you opened, the link that brought you, your browser and device, your country, and how fast the page loaded. It sets no cookies and does not identify you.

What we do with it

It becomes an email to our own inbox, and we read it and reply to the address you gave us. Apart from the ad measurement described under Google and advertising, that is the only use we make of it. We don't sell it, and we don't add you to a mailing list.

This website has no database. Nothing you type into the form is stored here. Once the email is sent, the message lives in our inbox and nowhere else on our side.

Who else handles it

The email is delivered by Resend, an email service, so your message passes through their systems on its way to us. Their privacy policy covers that leg of the trip.

Cloudflare delivers every page of this site, so your visit passes through their network, and they run the visit count described above. Their privacy policy covers both.

Google handles the analytics, the ad measurement and the maps described below, and nothing else. It never receives your message. How Google uses data from sites that run it is set out in their partner-sites notice.

Google and advertising

We plan to advertise on Google. So that we can tell which ads lead to an inquiry once we do, Google's analytics code can pick up the name, email address and phone number you type into the contact form when you send it. It turns them into a scrambled code first, and Google matches that code against Google accounts. Google may also use it in its audience reports. It never receives your message.

In Europe, the UK and Switzerland, this stays off until you accept. Everywhere else it is on unless you decline: Cookie settings at the bottom of any page switches it off, together with the analytics cookies.

Cookies and tracking

One thing here uses cookies to track your visit for us: Google Analytics. It tells us which pages people read and which ads bring them, which is how we decide what to spend on. Nothing else does that: no advertising pixel beyond Google's own, no session recording, no heatmaps.

Whether you were asked depends on where you are, and we would rather say so than let you assume otherwise. In Europe, the UK and Switzerland, analytics stays off until you accept. Everywhere else (which is most of the people who read this), it is on unless you turn it off, because no law there requires us to ask first. If that is not what you want, Cookie settings at the bottom of any page turns it off and keeps it off, whichever side of that line you are on.

Decline, and Google still sees that a page was opened, but it sets no cookies and cannot tie the visit to you or to anything else you do. We see nothing about you at all.

Two other things load from outside this site, and Cookie settings does not switch them off:

• Cloudflare's visit count, described above. It sets no cookies and does not identify you.
• The Google map on the contact page and on every rental and tour page. Your browser fetches it from Google when you scroll to it, so Google sees that request, as it would on Google Maps itself, and may set its own cookies. We receive nothing from it.

The fonts are served from this site rather than from a third party.

Payments

No card details go through this website. There's no checkout here: the deposit that holds your date and the refundable hold at pickup are both arranged with us directly, away from this site.
