Noah's Ark Beach Club tour, off Half Moon Bay

Noah's Ark is a tiki bar moored off Half Moon Bay. Three hours out of Leeward, with a stop at a sandbar shallow enough to stand on.

Heads-up: there are no animals on Noah's Ark, and the crowd leans adult. Sundays are the busy one; weekdays are quieter.

Want the calm one instead? The Iguana Island tour is two hours, with a National Trust guide on the boardwalk.

About the sandbar and the bar

Which day you pick changes this trip more than anything else on this page does.

Is three hours a lot?

It's the longest tour we run on the water. The shipwreck run is one hour and Iguana Island is two. Three hours is two stops with time to sit at each one. If you want to be back inside an hour, book the shipwreck instead.

Is it a party, or okay for couples?

Depends on the day, not on the tour. The two stops and the three hours are the same all week; what changes is how many other people are at the bar. Sunday is the busy one, so couples generally want a weekday.

Are drinks and food included?

Your tour price covers the three hours and the crew. Drinks and food at Noah's Ark are the bar's own tab, paid there by card or cash. Bring your own for the ride out and back if you want; the cooler and ice are on board.

What if I don't swim, or don't drink?

Neither one is a problem. You can stand up on the sandbar, and if you'd rather not get in at all you can stay on deck for the whole three hours. The bar pours soft drinks.

Will I get seasick?

The runs between stops are five to fifteen minutes; the rest of the three hours you're anchored or tied up. If you're prone to it, take a non-drowsy tablet an hour before and sit toward the middle of the boat. Tell the crew when you board.
