Where these excursions actually go
La Famille Express ran aground in 2004 and has sat 2.3 miles offshore ever since, in water shallow enough to snorkel the hull. Little Water Cay is 116 protected acres with around 3,000 rock iguanas on it. The quads go the other way, inland, out to a limestone sinkhole called The Hole.

Do I need experience or a license?
On the water, no license and no experience. Drivers are 16 or older and passengers ride from 4. There is a briefing before you go out. The quad tours are the exception — ask us about their age and licence rules before you book one.
Is it safe with kids?
The Iguana Island tour is the one for young kids. A short calm crossing, a flat boardwalk, no swimming, and a National Trust guide the whole way. Noah’s Ark leans adult, so it is the wrong booking for a family day.
What's included?
Your machine or your seat, fuel, a life vest, the briefing, and a guide. Tax is already in the price.
How long are they?
An hour, two hours or three, and both halves of the line-up run all three lengths. The shipwreck run and The Hole are the hour-long ones; Iguana Island and the Prince House are two hours; Noah’s Ark and the Long Bay safari are three. Each tour page carries its own duration and its stops.
Do you pick up from my hotel?
No. Hotel pickup and drop-off are not part of any tour, so you make your own way to the start and back. The boat tours leave from Leeward Marina, the quad tours from a trailhead, and the shipwreck run from Five Cays. Your meeting point is confirmed with your booking.
What if the weather turns?
If it isn’t safe to go out, we don’t go out. Message us before you book and we’ll confirm what happens to your booking and your deposit if we make that call.
